HOW TO CLEAN YOUR WASHING MACHINE
Do you want your washing machine to always be in good condition? Here are some tips from our experts to combat bacterial buildup and odor.
Dirty clothes lead to soiling of the washing machine. Our clothes and underwear can absorb the unpleasant smell of dirt, bacteria and viruses throughout the day. Consider the shirts and socks your child wears during soccer practice, your pet's toys and personal items, underwear, and more. Contaminants from these items can adversely affect the performance of your washing machine.
HOW TO CLEAN YOUR WASHING MACHINE
1. Clean the detergent drawer
This small space can become a haven for mold, bacteria and old detergent residue. This drawer can get dirty quickly, so it's always a good idea to clean it regularly. For best results, remove the drawer if possible, spray it with an antibacterial agent, and wipe it down well. Then rinse with water and wipe dry before placing it back in the washing machine.
2. Wipe the door seal
The rubber seal traps dirt, lint, fabrics and other debris that might otherwise hang loose in the drum.
The washing machine is often overlooked when it comes to cleaning, now you know how important it is to keep it clean.
