Description

Disinfectant for medical devices Tentamin-Forte — a transparent liquid (from colorless to light yellow), easily soluble in water. It has cleaning, wetting, emulsifying, and deodorizing properties, does not corrode metals, does not damage glass, polymers, rubber, coatings, is easily rinsed off, and does not fix organic contaminants. Suitable for processing devices with channels/cavities and helps remove protein and fat residues.

APPLICATION AREA

The product is intended for:

• disinfection, including combined with pre-sterilization cleaning (manual and mechanized, incl. ultrasonic units) of single-use and reusable medical devices made of metal, glass, rubber, plastics (including dental instruments and materials, rigid and flexible endoscopes and their instruments);

• pre-sterilization cleaning (not combined with disinfection) of medical devices and endoscope instruments;

• high-level disinfection (HLD) of endoscopes in healthcare facilities;

• sterilization of medical devices (incl. surgical, gynecological, dental instruments, endoscopes, and their instruments);

• disinfection of anesthesia-respiratory equipment and anesthesiology devices.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

1. Working solutions are prepared by diluting the concentrate in water at room temperature (0.01–8%).

2. Application methods: wiping, spraying, immersion, soaking, circulation.

3. Suitable for manual and mechanized processing (including ultrasonic cleaning units).

4. Exposure time — from 5 to 60 minutes depending on concentration, type of infection, and regime (bacteria, viruses, tuberculosis, fungi, spores, HLD).

5. For sterilization, use 2–8% solutions with an exposure time of 5 to 60 minutes.

6. After treatment, items must be thoroughly rinsed with running water.

PRECAUTIONS

• For professional use only.

• Persons under 18 years of age and people with allergic diseases or hypersensitivity are not allowed to work with the product.

• Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes.

• Use protective gloves; for spraying — respirator and protective goggles.

• Spraying should be carried out in the absence of patients and unauthorized persons.

• Containers with working solution during immersion must be tightly closed.

• Store separately from medicines and out of reach of children.

COMPOSITION

Mixture of quaternary ammonium compounds (alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride; alkyldimethylethylbenzylammonium chloride; didecyldimethylammonium chloride) — 22%, glutaraldehyde — 5%, glyoxal — 2%, auxiliary substances: purified water, pH regulator.

Shelf life of the product: 5 years from the date of manufacture. Working solutions: usable for 28 days in a tightly closed container (if appearance remains unchanged).
