Disinfectant for medical devices  Tetrascept-MD - granulated powder disinfectant with a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity. Upon dissolution, it forms peracetic acid, which provides effective disinfection, pre-sterilization cleaning, high-level disinfection (HLD), and sterilization.The working solutions have cleaning and deodorizing properties, do not fix protein or organic contaminants, do not damage instruments, and biodegrade into oxygen and water.Suitable for treating instruments and equipment made of metal, glass, rubber, polymers, silicone, including thermolabile materials.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

Recommended for:

• disinfection, pre-sterilization cleaning, sterilization, and HLD of medical devices;

• treatment of surgical, dental, and gynecological instruments (including saliva ejectors, rotors, dental prostheses, impressions made of alginate, silicone, or polyether resin);

• disinfection of flexible and rigid endoscopes and their accessories;

• treatment of incubators, changing/reanimation tables, CO₂ incubators, anesthetic-respiratory equipment;

• disinfection of ultrasound probes, physiotherapeutic and medical equipment;

• use in manual and automated processing, including ultrasonic systems.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Dissolve the powder in room temperature water according to purpose (concentration from 0.1% to 4%).

2. Apply by wiping, spraying, soaking, or immersion.

3. For devices with cavities — fill completely with solution, avoiding air pockets.

4. After disinfection, rinse devices with running water and, if needed, with sterile or distilled water, especially before sterile procedures.

5. The product does not leave toxic residues and does not require neutralization before disposal.

PRECAUTIONS:

• Not to be used by persons under 18 years, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or individuals with skin damage or allergies.

• Wear protective clothing and gloves.

• When spraying — use a respirator and protective goggles.

• Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or mucous membranes.

• In case of eye contact or ingestion — seek medical attention immediately.

• Do not allow powder to enter water bodies or sewage.

• In case of spillage — collect and flush with plenty of water.

COMPOSITION

Sodium percarbonate — 50%, tetraacetylethylenediamine (TAED) — 25%, auxiliary substances: citric acid, sodium carbonate, anionic surfactants, sodium metasilicate, complexing agent, active substance peracetic acid (forms upon dissolution in water)

Shelf life: 5 years from date of manufacture. Working solution effective for 24 hours in sealed container.
