Description

Disinfectant for medical devices Unicor-Vigo — a transparent liquid from yellow to brown, easily soluble in water. It has cleaning properties, does not corrode metals, does not damage glass, polymers, rubber, medical equipment coatings, is easily rinsed off, and does not fix organic contaminants. Suitable for processing items with channels/cavities.

APPLICATION AREA

The product is intended for:

• disinfection of medical devices made of metal, glass, rubber, and plastics (incl. surgical and dental instruments, rotating; rigid and flexible endoscopes and their instruments);

• disinfection combined with pre-sterilization cleaning (manual and mechanized, incl. ultrasonic units);

• disinfection of dental materials and system components (alginate/silicone impressions, dental blanks, suction systems, saliva ejectors, spittoons);

• high-level disinfection (HLD) of rigid and flexible endoscopes;

• sterilization of medical devices (instruments and materials, endoscopes and their instruments).

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

1. Working solutions are prepared in water at room temperature: 0.025–5% (depending on regime and object).

2. Application methods: wiping, immersion, soaking, spraying; suitable for manual and mechanized processing (ultrasonic cleaning units).

3. Exposure time: 10–90 minutes (depending on concentration and infection risk).

4. HLD of endoscopes: according to the instruction modes.

5. Sterilization: 2% solution, 60 minutes.

6. After treatment, items must be thoroughly rinsed with water.

7. Special case: for anthrax outbreaks, use 10–12% solutions, prepared in water at 60–65 °C and applied immediately after preparation.

PRECAUTIONS

• For professional use only.

• Persons under 18 years of age and people with allergic diseases/hypersensitivity are not allowed to work with the product.

• Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes; use gloves; for spraying — respirator and protective goggles.

• Spraying should be carried out in the absence of patients and unauthorized persons.

• Containers with working solutions during immersion must be tightly closed.

• Disposal: working solutions — into the sewage system; concentrate must be diluted to working concentrations before disposal. Do not allow undiluted product to enter surface or groundwater.

COMPOSITION

Mixture of quaternary ammonium compounds (alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride — 36%, alkyldimethylethylbenzylammonium chloride — 16%) — 52%, glutaraldehyde — 3%, auxiliary substances: purified water, surfactants, pH regulator.

Shelf life of the product: 5 years from the date of manufacture. Working solutions: usable for 21 days in a tightly closed container (if appearance remains unchanged).
