Description

Ekoment Forte Disinfectant for Medical Devices — a concentrated multifunctional disinfectant with a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity. Demonstrates strong bactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal, and sporicidal properties. Effective against tuberculosis pathogens, hepatitis viruses, HIV, and nosocomial infections.Thanks to the combination of glutaraldehyde and quaternary ammonium compounds (QACs), it ensures high disinfection efficiency. Does not fix protein contaminants, rinses off easily, does not cause corrosion, and leaves no residue.

APPLICATION AREA

The product is intended for:

• pre-sterilization cleaning of surgical (including microsurgical) and dental instruments, including rotating ones;

• cleaning flexible and rigid endoscopes and their instruments (preliminary, final before HLD, pre-sterilization);

• processing dental materials (alginate and silicone impressions, denture blanks, articulators);

• treatment of instruments and products made of metal, glass, polymers, rubber;

• performing high-level disinfection (HLD) and sterilization of medical devices.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Working solutions are prepared by diluting the concentrate in water at room temperature to the required concentration (0.1–5%).

2. Apply by wiping, soaking, immersion, spraying, or circulation.

3. Suitable for manual processing, as well as in mechanized and ultrasonic units.

4. Exposure time — from 15 to 120 minutes depending on the object and mode.

5. After treatment, rinse items with running water, and if necessary, with distilled water.

• Work in protective clothing, gloves, goggles, respirator.

• Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes.

• Do not mix with other disinfectants.

• Persons under 18 years old and people with allergies are not allowed to work with the product.

• During aerosol spraying, perform processing in well-ventilated areas without unauthorized persons.

COMPOSITION

Alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride — 40%, glutaraldehyde — 11%, auxiliary substances: prepared water, pH regulator

Shelf life: 5 years from the date of manufacture. Working solution stable for 14 days in tightly closed containers.
